Join Survive 2 Thrive a Women Veteran Support Group: Help End the Stigma of Veteran Mental Health Challenges

Survive 2 Thrive A Women Veterans Support Group

SC Thrive has created a Women Veteran Support Group called Survive 2 Thrive. This support group will help Veterans release some of their struggles through open communication and hear about how others use strategies to overcome similar experiences and difficulties. Any Woman Veteran living in South Carolina can join Survive 2 Thrive.

All meetings will take place virtually through Zoom. Participants will meet once a month from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM beginning December 2021 and going through March 2022.

SC Thrive’s Training and Veterans Manager, Eva Shockey shares, “I think this support group is good to have because too often women Veterans are overlooked. This group will help women know that they are not alone when addressing their mental health.”

Far too often, Women Veterans feel that they will be judged for reaching out for help to address their mental health concerns. Survive 2 Thrive will create a judgment-free space where women Veterans can learn to heal from traumas they may have faced. We want to assure you that you don’t have to suffer alone!

About Survive 2 Thrive:

Survive 2 Thrive is a virtual peer-to-peer support group for women Veterans to be a place of healing where women can build friendships, promote self-care and obtain support to manage their lives. Women Veterans can join to release some of their struggles through open communication and to hear about how others use strategies to overcome similar experiences and difficulties. This support group will reaffirm to Veteran women that they are not alone in their struggles while also providing advice and assistance when needed. To learn more click HERE.
