Building Leaders Through Service-Learning
Thrive Students is a youth development program of SC Thrive that equips students ages 12-18 with the skills, confidence, and experiences needed to become active leaders in their communities.
Through project-based learning, service opportunities, leadership development, and real-world experiences, students learn how to identify challenges, collaborate with others, and create positive change.
Our learning objectives align with the Department of Education’s Profile of the South Carolina Graduate, helping students build the world-class knowledge, workplace-ready skills, and career characteristics identified as critical to success by business leaders and educators across the state.
THRIVE STUDENTS CONFERENCES
Thrive Students hosts six Student Leadership Conferences each year across South Carolina, giving students the opportunity to build leadership skills, connect with peers, and make a difference in their communities through service.

Thrive Students is a critical positive youth development strategy that is leveraged by groups and teams of students across SC every year, both inside and outside the classroom. It is intentional about connecting students to their peers and community, helping them develop the self-efficacy and 21st-century skills they need to take action, and supporting their growth as lifelong servant-leaders with the empathy and purpose necessary to excel in college, in the workforce, and in life.
