SC Thrive Announces Four New Appointed Board Positions

CHARLESTON, S.C. — October 15, 2024 SC Thrive, a nonprofit organization linking South Carolinians with community and essential resources, announced the appointment of four new board members. These new members bring years of expertise and leadership experience to help expand SC Thrive’s mission of helping South Carolinians thrive.

CEO of SC Thrive Tricia Richardson said, “We are thrilled to announce these four new board members. Each one shares a commitment to improve the lives and well-being of those in our state. Their diverse background and knowledge will enhance the organization’s ability to achieve our mission of creating vibrant communities. With their continued support, SC Thrive has a bright future.”

Quincy Halliday, IV is SC Thrive’s new board chair. Halliday is a Shareholder at Halliday, Schwartz & Co. Inc., an accounting firm that specializes in audit, tax, and consulting services for large and medium-sized companies.

“I’m honored to take on the role of SC Thrive’s board chair,” said Halliday. “This incredible nonprofit is doing exceptional work in our communities in South Carolina, and I’m proud to serve alongside the SC Thrive staff and my board colleagues in the coming year.”

The Board Vice Chair, Juliette Bogus, is the CEO and Chief Inspirer at Inspire Agency, a full-service PR, branding, content and communications marketing agency helping brands find their voice and soul.

SC Thrive’s Secretary is Tiffany Freeman-Holston. She has experience with government affairs and works on the Senior Public Policy Counsel at BlueCross BlueShield South Carolina, a company serving people through private business and government contracts.

David Splittgerber continues to serve as SC Thrive’s Treasurer.

Apart from the four new members, SC Thrive is supported by a board of directors including Dr. Anthony Hill, Cathy Easley, Jody Chastain, Woody Turner, Lawrence Flynn and Cullen Pitts. These members, who are experts in a variety of fields such as pharmaceuticals, architecture and social work, provide varying perspectives and expertise to benefit SC Thrive.
