SC Thrive Receives State Impact Award

Columbia, SC, October 29, 2019 – SC Thrive received the State Impact Award from the Alliance for a Healthier South Carolina for their commitment to improving the health and well-being of South Carolinians. Accepting the award on behalf of the nonprofit were Stephanie McGuire, Chief Community Relations Officer, Keith McGregor, Chief Operating Officer and Katrina Seastrunk, Senior Regional Manager. The awards ceremony took place at the Annual Live Healthy SC Meeting hosted by the South Carolina Hospital Association in Columbia.

SC Thrive CEO, Tricia Richardson said, “We are honored to receive the State Impact Award from the Alliance for a Healthier South Carolina for our work in helping South Carolina residents build stabilized, healthy communities. I’m so proud of the hard work put in day after day for those in need in our state and am moved by the compassion our staff has as we navigate this very hard work with our daily lives.”

Richardson added, “SC Thrive works with a dedicated staff and over 400 community partners who work side-by-side to provide easier access to the care and resources necessary to address health, well-being and resilience in South Carolina. We are committed to helping the whole person by supporting their physical, mental and financial health.”

The Alliance for a Healthier South Carolina is a coalition of more than 50 executive leaders from diverse organizations across the state working together to ensure that all people in South Carolina have the opportunity to have healthier bodies, minds and communities while reducing the future cost of care.
