Leslie Beckstrom

Ms. Beckstrom currently works for ABC Quality as a Health Educator in the Upstate Region, strengthening nutrition and physical activity policies and practices in child care centers and family child care homes by providing technical assistance, training, and support to childcare providers. She has a long-standing history of building collaborative partnerships; developing and delivering research-based nutrition education and health programs; while building capacity for community-based change. Leslie has over twenty years of experience in the healthy eating, active living, and public health fields. Spending the last ten years building environment work to improve walkability, bike-ability, placemaking, and access to healthy food within communities.
